ZAZEN (Sitting Meditation) Experience in Kamakura @ Kenchoji Temple

Let’s enjoy ZAZEN (Sitting Meditation) at Kenchoji Temple.
Kanagawa Systematized Goodwill Guide Club (KSGG) will voluntarily escort you to the temple and guide you around the temple ground.
Kenchoji is the first-ranked of Zen temple in Kamakura, and is the oldest Zen training monastery.   The highlight in this event is Zen talks with Zen priests.
Time
12:30  Meet at JR Kita-Kamakura station
13:00  Arrive at Kenchoji Temple/Guide the temple
13:30  ZAZEN starts (15min. x 3 sessions)
15:00  Zen talk(Q&A) session.
15:30  Walk around Kenchoji temple
16:30  End of Zazen event/Go to JR Kita-Kamakura station
<Fees>
Admission Fee for Kenchoji temple   500yen/person
Fee for ZAZEN session                  1,000yen/person

If you have any requests, such as additional optional tour around Kenchoji before Zazen, please feel free to let us know.    We will respond to your requests.

KSGG will not be liable for any accidents.

You will make a Japanese paper doll, using beautiful Japanese Paper.
KSGG members will instruct you step by step.
Reservations are not required, just come and join us.
You can practice your Japanese conversation too!
