ZAZEN (Sitting Meditation) session will be held at Kenchoji Temple for foreigners.
Kanagawa Systematized Goodwill Guide Club (KSGG) will voluntarily escort you to the temple and guide you around the temple ground.
Kenchoji is the first-ranked of Zen temple in Kamakura, and is the oldest Zen training monastery.
<Time>
12:30 Meet at JR Kita-Kamakura station.
13:00 Arrive at Kenchoji Temple.
13:30 ZAZEN starts (15min. x 3 sessions）
15:00 Q&A session.(talk with priests)
15:30 Walk around Kenchoji temple ground led by a KSGG members.
17:00 End of Zazen event / Go to JR Kita-Kamakura station.

Admission Fee for Kenchoji temple 500yen/person
Fee for ZAZEN session 1,000yen/person
